Remembering Our Veterans in a Practical Way

Rebuilding community
You might say A.J. Perri celebrates ‘Veterans Day' throughout the year. This past October staff members rolled up sleeves and joined forces with 95.9 WRAT and Habitat for Humanity to build a house for local veteran.
In addition to the corporate sponsorship, several A.J. Perri associates provided a little elbow grease as well. They gathered at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, NJ this past Oct. 5th and 6th to work alongside recipient family members and other volunteers from the community. They built wall panels for the house that were later transported to the construction site.
“That day our installation specialists were also builders,” says general manager Jim Henkel. “We thoroughly enjoy participating in community projects as an associate activity, a way of giving back – and we have a special appreciation for our veterans.”
